Wife called about an hour ago having done a 180 and ended up facing the wrong way in a snow bank at an extremely busy intersection. I got there not more than 15 minutes after she called me and 2 people had stopped one person had his pickup hooked up to her car and had pulled her out as I was getting out of my car. Yay for nice people.

There are some good people out there. We just seem to hear about that bad ones.

More curious, what the heck did she do a 180 in? Corvette?

Pontiac Vibe. I think the front end got hooked and the rear came around.

A decade and a half ago, I delivered pizzas after school. We had a fleet of these polish-built Fiat Cinquecento Sportings, all of 55 raw hp. And that was the sport version! Anyhow, as the winter tires were quite worn out, I managed to plow it into a field. The first or second car stopped, a VW T3 Bus, and offered to pull me out if I had a rope. A few seconds later, another car stopped and lent me a rope. I was out of there less that two minutes after my little oopsie. Boss never knew about my little outing. As $kay said, there are good people out there, they usually just don't make the news.

Sorry, as soon as I read "Pontiac Vibe" and 180 I was trying to imagine how the conversation with my wife would go... I think that would be the point she admits she needs driving classes and just hands me the keys as I pull up lol.

Sorry I don't think it's appropriate to talk about "your wife's Vibe" on the internet.
